1. Who we are

EventVerse is operated by Home Use ("EventVerse", "we"). We act as the data controller for the personal data we process about you when you use the Service.

2. Personal data we collect

Account data — name, email, login credentials, organization, profile photo.
Event data — events, guest lists, vendors, schedules, and content you create.
Usage & telemetry — pages viewed, features used, performance and error logs, IP address, device and browser identifiers.
Support messages — content of communications you send us.

3. How we use it

Provide the Service — account creation, hosting your events, AI features (contract performance).
Security & fraud prevention — protect accounts and the platform (legitimate interests).
Product improvement — analyze usage to improve features (legitimate interests).
Customer support — respond to requests (contract performance).
Marketing — product updates and tips, with your consent where required (consent / legitimate interests).
Legal obligations — accounting, tax, compliance.

4. Data sharing

Service providers / subprocessors — cloud hosting, database, AI inference, analytics, email delivery.
Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
Professional advisers — legal and accounting where necessary.
Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights.

5. International transfers

If your data leaves your region (e.g. UK/EEA → US), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

6. Retention

We keep account and event data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards (typically 12 months) to support reactivation, billing, and legal obligations. Logs are kept for shorter periods. After that, data is deleted or anonymized.

7. Your rights

You may have rights to: access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. EU/UK residents may complain to a supervisory authority. We respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and audit logging.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and the Service working, and optional analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser.
